Love drawing right now. Ongezellig is a great creative outlet for me, and the drawings I've posted don't actually look half bad!

During the holidays, I find myself being on my phone and PC for essentially the whole day which is really mentally draining. Games are fun, sure, but simple pleasures like being outside and sharing laughs with friends is way more interesting and rewarding than being in a dark room all day playing Team Fortress 2 or Terraria... It's a shame, too, because the irony is that the holidays should be spent with friends and family, however a lot of people would rather spend that time indoors, which I don't mean to say is a generally bad thing, more so a little restricting as being at home for too long is just not desirable.

That being said, I'm just gonna go for a little walk and bring a notebook probably, I also need inspiration for drawing, too. My art hasn't been updated since August 2021... xD

a lot of the time when I think about Ongezellig i get sad 'cause the short film had such great potential, however was an incredibly big roadblock and stress inducer for the creator, Studio Massa. Like i mentioned in a former Forum Post i made a day or two ago ("Ongezellig and the Fandom"), i did speak briefly to the guy since he's always pestered with comments, essentially to sum them up its just "Bring Ongezellig back!".... sadly, that uhhh, wont happen xd...

but anyways, he doesn't seem to be doing all that well, and the cancellation, process of making, and general feeling of Ongezellig has aided towards the negative feelings hes experiencing.

just doesnt feel good to think about, and actively liking something the creator antagonized is an odd thing to think about.

sigh pvzgw2 keeps crashing on launch and there aren't any old ass reddit posts to help me.... sad day...

update : managed to fix it.... happy day!

i've always been fascinated by the idea of internet forums and blogs (while Newgrounds isnt exactly a "forum" or "blog" website, rather it is a place people come to share their awesome work), i haven't actually used them for ages. some part of me gets intimidated by it (as i have nothing interesting to contribute to the things being posted here), but oh well

better late than never
